Dak Lak: Handling 4 cases of illegal encroachment on forestry land

On October 11, a leader of the People's Committee of Ea Hiao commune, Dak Lak province, said that they were handling four cases of illegal encroachment on forestry land in the commune.

Forest area encroached by subjects

In the forest area belonging to household group 5, Bia village, Ea Hiao commune managed by Mr. PDH (residing in Lam Dong province) encroached on more than ^1,400m2 and Mr. NQT (residing in Dliê Ya commune, Dak Lak province) encroached on nearly ^2,000m2 . In the forest area belonging to household group 2, village 9a, Ea Hiao commune managed by Ms. NTL (residing in Cu Bao ward, Dak Lak province) encroached on more than ^2,000m2 and Mr. TVL (residing in Dliê Ya commune, Dak Lak province) encroached on more than ^3,000m2 .

Ea Hiao Commune People's Committee has brought related exhibits to headquarters and made a record to handle the subjects according to the law.

Subjects brought in motor vehicles to level and encroach on forest land.

To prevent encroachment of forest land, the People's Committee of Ea Hiao commune directed forest owners, especially households and communities, to strengthen patrolling and control, promptly prevent acts of encroachment on forests and forest land. At the same time, it will handle responsibilities for forest owners who are irresponsible in managing and protecting forests and forest land...
