Women's imprint of Army Corps 15

(GLO)- Promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", women of the 15th Army Corps have implemented many movements and models associated with production tasks and mass mobilization work in border areas; contributing to consolidating the people's hearts and minds, spreading the image of brave, intelligent, disciplined and humane military women.

Unity and sharing

After rubber tapping, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nho, a worker of Team 17, Economic - Defense Group 74 (Army Corps 15) still stays behind to guide new sisters to improve tapping techniques to increase productivity and reduce latex loss. With more than 20 years of experience in the profession, and being an excellent worker for many years, Ms. Nho is not only good at her profession but also actively spreads the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the group.

As the Head of the Women's Union of Team 17, Ms. Nho is always enthusiastic in the movements of the unit, especially the movement "Women help each other develop family economy". When the unit implemented the model "Connecting households", she proactively formed a friendship and helped Ms. Ro Mah Beh's family in Ia Chia commune. Ms. Beh's family previously had small-scale production with low efficiency. Thanks to Ms. Nho's dedicated guidance on latex tapping techniques, garden care, vegetable growing, and livestock raising, the family's life gradually stabilized and they had more income.

Ms. Beh emotionally shared: “I consider Ms. Nho as a relative. Having her by my side, I feel more secure in my work.” As for Ms. Nho, helping colleagues is not only a daily task but also a way to extend the spirit of sharing that she has received from her predecessors. “When I first started working, everyone also gave me enthusiastic guidance. Now that I have the conditions and experience, I have to continue that spirit, helping my colleagues do better so that everyone can have a stable life,” Ms. Nho said.

From examples like Ms. Nho, the women's movement in the entire 15th Army Corps has grown, contributing significantly to the completion of production tasks and consolidating the people's hearts and minds in the border area.

Spreading practical women's movements and models

Currently, Corps 15 has 4,617 women members, operating in 163 grassroots branches; 100% registered for emulation, of which more than 90% achieved advanced and excellent titles. The "Household Connection" model is maintained with 4,210 pairs of households, helping each other develop the economy, stabilize their lives, and spread the spirit of solidarity.

Along with that, models such as "Four Goods Garden", "Clean House - Beautiful Garden - Stable Economy", "Rice Saving Jar", "Breed of Faith", "Kindness" have been widely deployed, creating clear changes in household economic development and building happy families. Up to now, 100% of member families have vegetable gardens; 94% meet the criteria of "5 No, 3 Clean" and 95% have achieved the title of "Cultural Family".

According to Major Dinh Thi Le, President of the Women's Union of Economic - Defense Group 715 (Army Corps 15), in recent years, the Union's work and women's movement of the unit have always been deployed synchronously, associated with the task of production and building a strong and comprehensive unit. The Union has concretized many practical models, close to the production conditions and life of its members. The emulation models are maintained regularly, attracting a large number of members to participate.

To date, 95.6% of member families have met the criteria of “5 no, 3 clean”, 100% of households have green vegetable gardens to improve their lives. The association has mobilized more than 1,250 working days to help sick and disadvantaged members; built 11 “Membership” houses and given more than 3,000 gifts to women and children in border areas.

These results affirm the important role of women's work in carrying out the political tasks of the Corps, while contributing to strengthening the people's hearts and minds at the border.

Colonel Dang Quang Dung, Political Commissar of Army Corps 15, said that women's work is always an important political task of the Army Corps. The unit aims to build a team of female cadres and members who are comprehensively developed, have strong political will, good moral qualities, good skills, and can quickly adapt to the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

“We hope that each cadre and member will continue to practice, strive, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through specific, practical daily actions; actively study, improve qualifications, promote the spirit of innovation and creativity in production and labor, contributing with the unit to successfully complete all assigned tasks. From there, the image of the women of the 15th Army Corps will be enhanced - bravery, intelligence, discipline and humanity, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era" - Colonel Dang Quang Dung emphasized.
