Mr. T., a local investor, said he participated in the auction of 3 plots of land with the hope of winning one to build a house. However, at the end of round 6, he found that the prices were high, with one plot going up to 202 million VND/m2, so he gave up and went out to buy land at market price.

Notably, Ms. Hong, an investor from Quoc Oai district (Hanoi) said she won a plot of land in Ha Khau Dong Xu Dong area with an area of 62.5 square meters at a price of 146 million VND/square meter, equivalent to more than 9.1 billion VND, after 7 rounds of bidding. She is selling it for more than 9.7 billion VND, a difference of 600 million VND.
"Someone offered 156 million VND/m2 for this plot of land, but it was not valid, so the organizers approved me to win. So buying this plot is a bargain of 10 million VND/m2," Ms. Hong said. She said that her group participated in the auction today for all 27 plots of land. Currently, her group has not won any other plots of land.

As reported by Dan Tri newspaper, Ha Dong district (Hanoi) organized an auction of 27 residential land plots in the locations of Ha Khau copper area, Dong Danh - Dong Coc area, Dong Bo - Dong Chuc - Cua Cau - Dong Men area (area B, Phu Luong ward); Sau Chua area (symbol X8, Yen Nghia ward); Duoc area (symbol X7, Duong Noi ward).
The plots of land to be auctioned range in area from 48.7m2 to 72.1m2, with starting prices ranging from 22.8-32.2 million VND/m2, and deposits ranging from 221.9 million to 436.3 million VND/plot. The purpose of land use is urban residential land, the form of use is the State allocating land with land use fees. The land use term is long-term.
Of these, there are 17 plots in Ha Khau area, 1 plot in Dong Danh - Dong Coc area, 1 plot in Dong Bo - Dong Chuc - Cua Cau - Dong Men area (area B), Phu Luong ward; 2 plots in Sau Chua area (X8), Yen Nghia ward and 6 plots in Duoc area (X7), Duong Noi ward.
Investors participating in the auction will conduct direct voting in multiple rounds according to the method of bidding up. Land plots in Ha Khau area will be auctioned through at least 5 mandatory rounds, in Dong Danh - Dong Coc area through 11 rounds, in Dong Bo - Dong Chuc - Cua Cau - Dong Men area (area B) through 6 rounds, in Sau Chua area (X8) through 6 rounds and in Duoc area (X7) through 7 rounds.
The common price step applied to land plots and in auction rounds is 10 million VND/m2.
