On the morning of October 1, concluding a working session with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Di An Ward, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang shared with the ward leaders about the pressure of population size in the area.

According to the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, with the largest population in the city and the second most populous ward in the country, Di An cannot avoid difficulties and pressures. Therefore, Mr. Tran Luu Quang suggested that Di An ward develop regulations that are universal, to suit the population size in the area. If Di An ward encounters difficulties or problems beyond its capacity, Ho Chi Minh City will support it.
Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang suggested that grassroots leaders proactively coordinate with neighboring communes and wards, and proactively adapt to local characteristics.
In addition to the encouragement and sharing of the city, the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Department of Home Affairs to prioritize staff allocation for Di An ward, resolve legitimate local requests, and especially prioritize school construction to meet population size and effective teaching.
“For example, all construction inspection forces are assigned to communes and wards. When allocating, each commune and ward has 5-6 officers, but Di An ward alone has more,” said Secretary Tran Luu Quang.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang also emphasized that the previous contents that Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces had done well, Di An ward must advise each level of authority to research and issue reasonable regulations to apply to the new Ho Chi Minh City.
Regarding the recommendations of Di An ward, the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee directed relevant departments and branches to respond specifically and directly to each content at the working session.
