A milestone for strong innovation

Towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, Ninh Binh province widely organized to collect comments on draft documents to be submitted to the Congress.

The consultation was carried out seriously and synchronously from Party committees, authorities, organizations to all classes of people, ensuring democracy, objectivity and promoting collective intelligence. The opinions not only expressed confidence in the Party's leadership but also the expectation that the 14th Congress would propose the right direction and effective solutions to bring the country to rapid and sustainable development in the new period.

Solidarity to successfully implement Resolution XIII of the National Congress

Mr. Pham Van Dan, Secretary of Tan Van Ward Party Cell, Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh Province, assessed the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress in the draft document.

Through monitoring the content of the assessment of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress in the draft Political Report of the 14th National Party Congress, Mr. Pham Van Dan, Secretary of the Tan Van Ward Party Cell, Hoa Lu Ward, highly appreciated the political determination, solidarity, and unceasing efforts of the entire Party, people, and army in the process of organizing the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. In the context of the country facing many difficulties, especially the severe consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and the complicated fluctuations of the world economic and political situation, Vietnam has maintained stability, continued to develop, and achieved very important and comprehensive results, with many outstanding bright spots.

According to Mr. Pham Van Dan, one of the key factors creating those achievements is the Party's flexible and decisive leadership and direction. The guidelines, policies and strategies issued are close to reality, responding promptly to emerging issues, especially in socio- economic management. Major orientations such as: Promoting digital transformation, developing strategic infrastructure, promoting green economy, circular economy, attracting high-quality investment... have clearly demonstrated the Party's long-term vision and strong innovative thinking in the new development stage.

Mr. Pham Van Dan especially emphasized the work of Party building, rectification and the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity. According to him, this is a prominent bright spot, demonstrating a very high political determination, with the motto "no forbidden zones, no exceptions". This work has contributed to cleaning up the cadre team, strengthening the people's trust, and tightening discipline and order in the public apparatus.

In the fields of economy, society, national defense - security, and foreign affairs, Mr. Pham Van Dan acknowledged positive results. In particular, economic growth was maintained at a reasonable level in the context of global difficulties; people's lives, especially vulnerable groups such as the poor, ethnic minorities, and people in remote and isolated areas continued to improve. In addition, political security and social order and safety were maintained, foreign relations were increasingly expanded, and Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena were significantly enhanced.

Mr. Pham Van Dan highly appreciated the spirit of consensus and strong participation of all classes of people. From farmers, workers to intellectuals, businessmen, all classes showed a sense of responsibility, joining hands to build the country. The patriotic emulation movements, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style are increasingly going into depth, bringing practical results in social life.

From the practical implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Secretary of Tan Van Ward Party Cell Pham Van Dan expressed his firm belief in the Party's leadership. He said that in order for the country to make a breakthrough, it is necessary to continue promoting the strength of national solidarity, improve national governance capacity, firmly pursue the goal of sustainable development, and constantly innovate for the goal of "Rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization".

Innovation in thinking, perfecting the development model

Highly appreciating the seriousness, comprehensiveness and depth of the draft report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process in the past 40 years in Vietnam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cuc Phuong Commune Dinh Thi Van said that the draft correctly reflected the stature and leadership role of the Party throughout the renovation process, demonstrating increasingly mature theoretical thinking, closely following reality. In particular, the report correctly recognized the role of the socialist-oriented market economy, promoting sustainable development, growth coupled with social equity; at the same time, frankly pointed out existing problems such as the gap between rich and poor, corruption, moral degradation, waste of resources, etc.

Commenting on the theoretical aspect, Ms. Dinh Thi Van said that the report needs to clarify the content of "socialist-oriented market economy" and needs to assess more deeply the role of the private economic sector in the context of international integration and the fourth industrial revolution.

In practice, Ms. Dinh Thi Van suggested that the report should pay more attention to the issue of development disparities between regions, between rural and urban areas, and between plains and mountainous areas. According to her, economic development must go hand in hand with ensuring social equity. In addition, the report also needs to propose clearer policies to support workers, especially workers, farmers and informal workers - the forces that contribute greatly but are still disadvantaged.

Regarding leadership and management methods, Ms. Dinh Thi Van emphasized the role of the rule of law, transparency and accountability in state management to strengthen the trust of the people and the business community. Promoting the application of digital technology and promoting digital transformation in the administrative apparatus to serve the people more effectively and conveniently.

Vice Chairwoman of Cuc Phuong Commune People's Committee Dinh Thi Van hopes that the Party will continue to promote the spirit of democracy, listen to people's opinions in the process of policy making and implementation; at the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the prevention and fight against corruption and waste; improve the ethics and responsibility of cadres and civil servants; prioritize investment in essential areas such as education, health care, environment; encourage the role of intellectuals, entrepreneurs and the young generation in the cause of national development.

Ms. Dinh Thi Van hopes that the report on the Summary of some theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process in the past 40 years in Vietnam will be an important milestone, creating a foundation for the country to continue to innovate strongly, develop more sustainably and fairly.
