According to the preliminary design documents, the North-South high-speed railway route through the city has a number of locations with infrastructure problems and existing relic sites such as: Tam Ky City's cemetery for officials and people; Nong Bo People's Cemetery; 2 provincial-level historical relics: Princess Ngoc Dung's tomb and Mr. Nguyen Duc Huy's tomb; Phuoc Thien Pagoda and the relic stele near Phuoc Thien Pagoda; Hoa Nhon resettlement area and the intersection of National Highway 14B - Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway.

Therefore, the Department of Construction proposed that the Ministry of Construction direct the Railway Project Management Board to promptly study, adjust appropriately and unify the direction of the North-South high-speed railway route through the city so that the locality can implement the next steps.
