Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, Tu Tam S-Merciful Medical Joint Stock Company suddenly announced the closure of Tu Tam S-Merciful Nursing Home at 22 Morrison, An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District ( Da Nang City) from May 22, causing customers to be upset and demand their money back.

Son Tra District Police determined that Tu Tam S-Merciful Medical Joint Stock Company has its headquarters in Phu Nghia village, Tran Phu commune, Chuong My district ( Hanoi ), with Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc Minh (34 years old, residing in Khuong Dinh, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi) as the General Director and legal representative, providing services of "Nursing home, health care for the elderly".

In April 2022, the company opened a branch in Da Nang at 150 Vo Nguyen Giap, Phuoc My Ward (Son Tra District) and was granted a certificate of registration for branch operations by the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang City from April 25, 2022.

Tu Tam S-Merciful Medical Joint Stock Company rents operating premises

In January 2023, this company rented 22 Morrison from Lincoln GN Partners LLC and moved the nursing home here with 10 employees but could not provide relevant legal documents.

This house belongs to Ms. L. (20 years old, residing at 5 Hoi Vu Lane, Hang Bong Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) and is registered in her name, and is rented to her mother, Ms. Ch. (55 years old), to Lincoln GN Partners LLC.

After the landlord and Lincoln GN Partners Company terminated the contract (due to the tenant's failure to provide financial guarantees), Mr. Tran Hong Linh (35 years old, residing on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Xuan Ha Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang City, manager of the above-mentioned nursing home) directly rented the house from Ms. Ch.

On May 15, because Lincoln GN Partners could not guarantee financial support, Ms. Ch. requested to take back her house from May 22, so Tu Tam S-Merciful Nursing Home announced its closure.

Earn 8 - 20 million VND/person/month

According to Son Tra District Police, in Da Nang City, Tu Tam S-Merciful Medical Joint Stock Company signed contracts with 15 customers with various forms, terms, and care levels ranging from 8 to 20 million VND/person/month and is actually taking care of 11 people.

The company's sudden announcement of cessation of operations is a breach of contract, which requires 30 days' notice.

Son Tra District Police continue to work with relevant parties

The company has a plan to send the elderly to a facility in Hanoi, reserve the service package, give more care time... but the customer in Da Nang City wants his money back.

Son Tra District Police have compiled the amount of money that must be paid to customers when terminating the contract (as of May 23) as more than 761 million VND. In addition, 30 employees, doctors, nurses, managers... also demanded that Tu Tam S-Merciful Medical Joint Stock Company pay the owed salary (totaling 700 million VND) from 1 to 5 months. The company gave a payment deadline of 1 month, but the families did not accept. Notably, today, May 24, some people who bought the company's bonds or contributed capital to do business with this unit also came to demand money.

This afternoon, May 24, the People's Committee of Son Tra District established an interdisciplinary inspection team to work with Tu Tam S-Merciful Nursing Home at 22 Morrison, An Hai Bac Ward.
