Walking together to raise funds for the 'For the poor' fund: Every step - Millions of hearts, for Tan Dinh to unite and develop

This event was jointly organized by the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dinh Ward, attracting the participation of a large number of officials, unions, businesses, students, and local people.

From early morning, local leaders and hundreds of people in red shirts with yellow stars gathered together, warmed up and participated in the walking route around the central streets of the ward, in an exciting and connected atmosphere.

In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Dinh Minh Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dinh Ward, Head of the Mobilization, Management and Use of the Fund "For the Poor" shared: "Today's walking program is not only a sports activity to improve health, but also contains profound human values, demonstrating the beautiful spirit of "the rich help the torn" of the nation. Each step is a million hearts sharing, so that love can spread to difficult circumstances".

Ms. Phuong also said that in the coming time, the Campaign Committee will continue to widely deploy fundraising activities, associated with the National Great Unity Day, committed to using transparently, for the right subjects, at the right time, so that the "For the Poor" Fund can truly become a solid foundation in social security work.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Quan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Dinh Ward, Head of the Program Steering Committee affirmed: "Through this practical activity, we continue to affirm the strength of the great national unity bloc, promote the spirit of humanity and community responsibility".

At the launching ceremony, with the cooperation of officials, civil servants, businesses, religious establishments, schools and local people, the initial contribution amounted to more than 700 million VND. This demonstrates a strong spirit of solidarity and community responsibility, while also providing additional resources to care for poor households and households in difficult circumstances, ensuring that no one is left behind according to the government 's policy.

Accordingly, this program is also associated with many meaningful activities such as awarding scholarships to poor students; giving mobile phones to near-poor households to access medical, educational and public administrative services; giving health insurance cards to freelance workers in difficult circumstances and members of motorbike taxi unions...

As one of the main businesses accompanying the program, representatives of Vietnam Waste Solutions Company (VWS) also joined the walking group and donated funds to the Fund, contributing to the overall success of the program.

Ms. Huynh Lan Phuong, Deputy General Director of VWS Company expressed: "VWS not only focuses on waste treatment and environmental protection in the city, but also always wants to join hands with the local government and people to support better care for social activities."

The event ended in a warm and joyful atmosphere with gifts, certificates and fresh flower bouquets sent to people and business representatives, demonstrating a deep spirit of humanity and sharing.
