These questions are not tricky or surprising to the candidates. If students review well and focus on the main points, they can easily get a score above 5.

Third, many questions in the exam are related and apply practically (question d in the reading comprehension section and the extended connection part of questions 1 and 2 of question 3). These questions are suitable for the psychology of the age group, very practical with the activities that students have experienced in high school. For example, question d (1 point)/reading comprehension section, if the student can state a specific activity (0.25 point); explain the reason for choosing a reasonable activity (0.5 point) and express well, without spelling, word usage, or grammar mistakes (0.25 point). Most of the candidates' answers scored from 0.75 to 1 point for this question. This situation is quite different from previous years, when question d in the reading comprehension section was often very difficult, and few candidates scored full points.

Another main reason is that this year's 10th grade entrance exam for literature is relatively easy compared to previous years. This is the last year for 9th grade students studying under the 2006 program, and they are more or less affected by the Covid-19 epidemic in primary and secondary schools, so the exam is easier, not causing stress or pressure for them.

Strict exam organization

As every year, the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City is strictly organized.
