At the forum, people expressed and sent many opinions and wishes such as opening classes to teach pottery making, planning pottery firing areas, building raw material areas for pottery making; supporting the development of craft villages to solve local jobs for people; planning areas for crop and livestock production to help people have conditions for economic development; solving jobs for children of ethnic minorities after graduation; creating conditions for children of ethnic minorities who are poor and near-poor households to study at boarding schools in the area.
Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the forum.
Speaking at the forum, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said that the forum is an opportunity for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and relevant agencies to accompany and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the ethnic minority and mountainous people in the implementation and dissemination of the policies and resolutions of the Party and the State. From there, remove difficulties and obstacles in implementation, so that the policies can truly come into life and be effective on the principle of "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise and people benefit". He asked people to boldly, frankly and sincerely exchange and contribute opinions and recommendations for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; at the same time, he emphasized that through providing information at the forum, representatives of provincial and district departments, branches and sectors will receive and explain the opinions, recommendations and proposals of the people. Thereby, there will be appropriate and effective solutions in implementing the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
