Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai received the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ca Mau province.

On the afternoon of October 3, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai had a meeting with the delegation of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ca Mau province, led by Most Venerable Thach Ha, Head of the Executive Committee, who came to visit and introduce the new organization after the merger. Also receiving the delegation was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang.

At the meeting, Venerable Thach Ha informed about the reorganization of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ca Mau province (Executive Committee) after the merger.

The Board of Directors currently has 184 monasteries, 26 activity points, 1,019 monks and nuns, and nearly 441,000 followers; the staff for the 2022-2027 term includes 108 members.

Most Venerable Thach Ha affirmed that the Executive Committee will unite and well implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; effectively carry out Buddhist work; actively participate in implementing social security programs, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai congratulated the Board of Trustees after the merger; at the same time, said that after the merger, Ca Mau province has many favorable conditions for development, especially exploiting the potential of cultural tourism and spiritual tourism.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai acknowledged and appreciated the contributions over the past time and hoped that the Board of Trustees would continue to accompany the government, the Fatherland Front and organizations, contributing to building Ca Mau to develop quickly and sustainably.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai conveyed the regards of Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai to the monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the province; at the same time, wished the Executive Committee to always be united, fulfill Buddhist tasks well, continue to promote the good values ​​of Buddhism, and contribute to strengthening the great national unity bloc.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai affirmed that he will always accompany and create favorable conditions for the Executive Committee to effectively carry out Buddhist activities, joining hands with the Party Committee, government and people to build Ca Mau to develop quickly and sustainably.
