- On the afternoon of October 22, the working delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training led by Comrade Pham Ngoc Thuong, Deputy Minister Often A delegation from the Ministry of Education and Training visited and presented gifts to Yen Binh Primary School (Yen Binh commune) which was flooded due to the impact of storm No. 11.
Joining the delegation from Lang Son province were comrade Tran Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Education and Training.

According to the report of Yen Binh Commune People's Committee, the whole commune has 8 schools, of which 6/8 schools were seriously affected by heavy rain and flash floods after the storm, damaging many facilities and teaching equipment with total estimated damage of more than 7 billion VND. Of which, Yen Binh Primary School was the unit that suffered the most damage.
Immediately after the storm, the commune government mobilized police, military, officials, teachers and parents to clean up, disinfect and temporarily repair schools, ensuring conditions for students to return to school soon. Many units, businesses and charitable organizations visited, encouraged and provided material and spiritual support to teachers and students in flooded areas.

During the visit, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong expressed his sympathy and shared the difficulties that teachers and students of Yen Binh Primary School are experiencing after the storm. He highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactive efforts of the school, the local government and people in recent days.
The Deputy Minister hopes that, with the will to overcome difficulties and love for the profession, teachers will continue to be steadfast, accompany students to overcome difficulties, and soon bring the school back to order. At the same time, he believes that with the attention and cooperation of the whole society, Yen Binh Primary School will soon stabilize its operations, becoming a bright spot in the spirit of solidarity and determination to overcome difficulties of education in flood-affected areas.

On this occasion, the delegation presented Yen Binh Primary School with 1 television, 1 set of speakers and 100 million VND to support the school in overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 11, contributing to helping teachers and students soon stabilize teaching and learning conditions.
