Quang Tri Provincial National Assembly Delegation works with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee

On the afternoon of October 8, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province had a working session with the Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and departments and branches before the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the Conference, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang informed about some contents of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly , and at the same time wished to grasp the results of the implementation of tasks of the sectors in the first 9 months of 2025; receive opinions and recommendations of agencies and units on issues close to the content of the 10th Session, especially on mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles after the period of operating the 2-level government apparatus.

At the Conference, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam presented the results of local socio -economic development in the first 9 months of the year. Accordingly, the socio-economic situation of the province achieved important results in all fields, GRDP increased by 7.92%, exceeding the 9-month growth scenario.

At the same time, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam also proposed a number of contents, including: difficulties in transmission infrastructure, planning, investment regulations; proposing policies on planning and allocating more flexible energy targets by region; delegating authority to localities to plan energy space; researching and developing key locations for national renewable energy; having policies on investment in power transmission infrastructure, allowing socialization of transmission investment; establishing a national renewable energy infrastructure fund to support localities; having policies on prices and energy competition mechanisms... The representative of the Department of Industry and Trade also informed about a number of difficulties related to electricity trading.

The representative of the Department of Finance proposed to allocate the central budget to implement the construction of the resettlement area for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis and the State capital to participate in the project of the Cam Lo - La Son expressway section to the West branch of Ho Chi Minh road under the public-private partnership (PPP) method.

On the side of the Department of Health, Director of the Department of Health Diep Thi Minh Quyet proposed a special policy for attracting doctors to the commune health sector; re-examining the level of autonomy for units in the field of social security... The representative of the Social Insurance of Quang Tri province also raised a number of problems in the health sector.

Regarding the education sector, the representative of the Department of Education and Training informed that the operation of the two-level government of the sector at the local level is basically smooth, without many difficulties; at the same time, it is proposed to have regulations to raise the standard level of training for high school teachers to create a "boost" for the quality of education; build a learning society, focus on educational content for adults; and develop vocational education.

Representatives of units, departments, branches and sectors also actively discussed and contributed many practical and in-depth contents at the Conference.

The comments and contributions from delegates and voters will be compiled by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to be sent to relevant agencies and drafting agencies for consideration and comments at the upcoming 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
