Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the title of "National Emulation Fighter" to Meritorious Teacher, Dr. Pham Xuan Khanh, Party Secretary, Principal of Hanoi College of High Technology and Meritorious Teacher, Master Dao Thi Thuy, Principal of Doan Thi Diem Primary School - Hanoi.

Attending and directing the Congress were Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council.

Also attending were comrades Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation; Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Party Central Committee member, Vice President, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council; General Trinh Van Quyet, Party Central Committee Secretary, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Member of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council, and leaders of central ministries, departments, branches and Hanoi City.

The Congress took place in an exciting and proud atmosphere celebrating the 1015th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi and the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025).

This is also an opportunity for the Party Committee, government and people of the capital to compete to achieve achievements to welcome the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

The Congress has the task of summarizing the emulation movement and reward work for the 2020-2025 period, setting out directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 period, at the same time praising and honoring outstanding collectives and individuals in the city's patriotic emulation movement and introducing the Hanoi City Delegation to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

The capital's patriotic emulation movements closely follow political tasks, bring about practical results, and successfully complete socio-economic development goals.

In the period of 2020-2025, the patriotic emulation movements of the Capital always closely follow the political tasks, promote the spirit of initiative, creativity, and innovation in both content and organization methods, bring practical results, contribute significantly to motivating and encouraging cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people of all walks of life to strive to overcome difficulties and successfully complete socio-economic development goals.

The Hanoi City Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2025-2030 period is an important occasion to strongly arouse patriotism, self-reliance and development aspirations, towards the goal of building a civilized, modern and happy capital.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Innovation - Creativity - Development", Hanoi's patriotic emulation movement in the new period will continue to be a great driving force to encourage the entire Party Committee, government and people of the Capital, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress and the Capital's development strategy to 2045, vision 2065.
