Since the end of September, Economic - Defense Group 345 (Military Region 2) has provided seeds and agricultural materials to poor ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances in communes in the project area.

The delegation presented 97 breeding cows to households in Trinh Tuong, Pha Long, and Cao Son communes, each household received 1 breeding cow, 200 kg of bran, vaccines, and licking stones; 70 breeding buffaloes with 3.5 tons of bran, vaccines, and licking stones for A Mu Sung, Y Ty, and Cao Son communes; 25 fattening cows, 5 tons of bran, vaccines, and licking stones for 25 households in Trinh Tuong commune; 146 breeding horses for A Mu Sung, Y Ty, Trinh Tuong, and Cao Son communes; 210 goats for 30 households in Cao Son and Pha Long, each household received 6 female goats, 1 male goat, and 200 kg of bran, vaccines, and licking stones in support.

In addition, the Delegation also provided tea seeds and fertilizers for more than 70 hectares of agricultural land in Cao Son commune, helping people expand production and develop their livelihoods.

At the handover points, officers and staff of Economic - Defense Group 345 instructed on techniques for caring for and raising livestock, how to prevent diseases, keep barns clean, and use licking stones to supplement minerals for livestock, ensuring long-term effectiveness.

The activity of providing seeds and agricultural materials belongs to Sub-project No. 3 - Project "Socio-economic development, military model associated with ethnic minority and mountainous areas" of the Economic - Defense Zone, aiming to create sustainable livelihoods, help people stabilize their lives and escape poverty.
