Over the past 20 years, since the Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day, the Vietnamese business community has grown strongly; the number of newly established businesses has been constantly increasing. Businesses and entrepreneurs growing strongly and integrating with the world is a bright spot of the economy , reflecting the need and effort for development in the context of the country still facing many difficulties and challenges.

Growing stronger and stronger

From a previously backward agricultural economy, Vietnam is developing dynamically and moving towards strong integration. Along with the development of the country, the role of the business community and entrepreneurs is extremely important, leading the country on the path of integration. Currently, our country has nearly 1 million businesses and strives to develop to 2 million businesses by 2030.

In that large business community, many enterprises and corporations have gradually risen and developed, becoming leading pillars, affirming the internal strength of Vietnamese entrepreneurs and enterprises such as: Viettel, Vingroup, Hoa Phat, Vinamilk,FPT ... operating in Vietnam and many countries around the world.

Today, October 13, at The Mira Central Park Conference and Event Center, the 21st Anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025) will take place. The program is organized by the Dong Nai Business Federation in coordination with the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association to review the tradition of activities, connect businesses and entrepreneurs, and create a mindset to be ready to enter a new stage of development.

On October 9, speaking at the Prime Minister's meeting with business representatives on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of the business sector and entrepreneurs to overcome difficulties and challenges since the beginning of the term. According to the Prime Minister, in difficult circumstances, Vietnam has continuously achieved high development results. In the efforts of the entire political system, there are contributions from the business community. The team of businesses and entrepreneurs is increasingly mature and strong, a pillar for the country's development. The Government hopes that the business community will share their thoughts, visions for action, and give suggestions on problems that are still unresolved, with the spirit of entrepreneurs as soldiers, rising up with the country and the nation.

Along with the whole country, the business community and enterprises in Dong Nai are increasingly growing in quantity and quality. Starting from Dong Nai, there are enterprises that have developed widely throughout the country, with the stature and brand of large corporations, leading in a number of fields such as Truong Hai, Golf Long Thanh; along with that are large state-owned enterprises responsible for economic development and industrial infrastructure such as: Dofico, Sonadezi, Tin Nghia...

There are more and more strong enterprises and businessmen who are passionate about the development of the locality. As a businessman in the field of transportation and other industries, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Mui, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Transport Group Corporation, shared: His company has many member companies and thousands of employees operating in provinces and cities but still chooses Dong Nai as its "headquarters". Contributing to the development of the locality and the whole country is the responsibility of businessmen and enterprises.

According to Mr. Mui, the private economy is currently identified by the State as an important driving force in the country's development. He hopes that the province will pay more attention to reforming administrative procedures, creating the best conditions for enterprises to operate in production and business, contributing more to the locality.

On the local side, to support the business community to grow strongly, by 2025, Dong Nai strives to abolish at least 30% of unnecessary business investment conditions; reduce at least 30% of compliance costs for administrative procedures, and 30% of investment costs for implementing administrative procedures. In 2026, continue to propose competent authorities to consider cutting 50% of the time to handle administrative procedures and 50% of the cost of complying with administrative procedures compared to 2024.

Confident integration, ready to enter the new era

Talking about the responsibility of the business community, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation, promised the Prime Minister that he would work harder. For the country to develop, businesses must connect with each other. Large businesses will join hands to help small and medium-sized businesses. The business community will work hard together to achieve the target of double-digit economic growth, not just 10% but possibly higher; at the same time, try to learn and master technology. A country cannot be rich and powerful if it only works for hire and depends on foreign technology.

From there, build the brand, raise the company's stature to become stronger and stronger, bring its products to the world market, including demanding markets such as the United States, Europe...
