As a lawyer and businessman, Pham Hong Diep is known to many people as the author of many poems and songs about his hometown Hai Phong . This time, he released a new collection of poems called "Love song in the midst of impermanence" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2nd.
In the unpredictable changes of life - the "impermanence" that is the law of nature and society - author Pham Hong Diep chose poetry as a love song, a clear voice to keep her heart at peace, to share love with life.

In the collection of poems, Pham Hong Diep takes readers back to childhood memories of ripe rice fields, green bamboo banks rustling in the wind; then follows the author's footsteps as he wanders through many new lands, where each step leaves an impression in each word.
That is how Pham Hong Diep recorded his emotions and feelings, simple but imbued with affection for the land and people of the place where he lives, the "Red Flamboyant City", and the unique characteristics of the land and people in the regions of the Fatherland where he visited and left his footprints.
Writer Nguyen Dinh Minh, Head of the Vietnam Writers Association in Hai Phong, shared his feelings about Pham Hong Diep's poetry, saying, "There is a source of inspiration that he exploits very skillfully, which is poetry about the homeland, about the very simple things of farmers, about the countryside garden..."

We can see what writer Nguyen Dinh Minh commented right in the poem "Mr. Men plowing the fields". That is the image of an old farmer who is attached to the fields all year round, appearing diligent and resilient - a symbol of the strength from the land and tradition. Or in "Helping Mother" we see the gentleness like the whispering of a child shouldering the work of the fields, evoking the overflowing maternal love and maturity in work. In "Giải tâm Cũ Mén" we hear the confession of a simple old man, like a record of a life that is honest, painful but also full of love.
Not only writing about the countryside, the author also opens his heart to the sea, with "Drunken Fisherman" depicting fishermen drunk on wine, drunk on the salty taste of wind and waves and freedom, bringing the liberal breath of people whose lives are tied to the sea.
Regarding the country, the author again poured national pride into "Vietnam Self-Reliant", a poem rich in spirit, praising the indomitable will, the aspiration to rise up and build a strong country.
And to close that chain of emotions, near the end of the poetry collection, Pham Hong Diep brings us back to the peaceful "Countryside Pond". The small pond in the countryside becomes a memory, a symbol of the source that nourishes the soul, so that anyone who goes far away can feel their heart "return".

Editor-in-Chief of the Literature and Arts Times, writer Hoang Du commented that the poems in “Love Song in the Impermanence” are not fussy about rules, they are natural, rustic, free-spirited, sometimes carefree, and straightforward - but that is exactly why they are filled with love. And because of that sincerity, many verses have been set to music, becoming resounding songs, continuing to spread in life.
“Pham Hong Diep invests very carefully in his poetry publications. That is his seriousness towards his efforts, achievements and towards his readers,” writer Hoang Du added.
“Love Song in the Impermanence” is therefore not only a collection of poems, but also a tribute from the author to his homeland and to life. It is a gentle song, imbued with the soul of the homeland and human love - so that each of us can listen, be moved and see ourselves in it.
Therefore, “Love Song in Impermanence” does not stop on the page. It comes to life, becomes music, becomes songs, becomes spreading sounds. The musician finds in poetry rich material to compose music, and the reader finds in poetry a sympathy, a soul mate.
This collection of poems also records comments on Pham Hong Diep's outstanding poems in published collections; feelings about poetic quality, poetic language and philosophies of life that Pham Hong Diep has conveyed through the poems of poets, writers, journalists and other readers.
Lawyer and businesswoman Pham Hong Diep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shinec Joint Stock Company, is known as a pioneer in building ecological industrial parks in Vietnam, shaping a sustainable vision associated with the circular economy .
