Music lovers often remember the image of musician and singer The Hien with his guitar and gentle smile that has been associated with him for many years of his tireless composing and performing. His career is a journey of more than four decades of tireless dedication to music .
He was present in every part of the country, at special moments to write and sing in praise of love for the homeland and country, in praise of soldiers at the border, on remote islands, in praise of the working people...
He was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist by the Vietnamese State in 2012. In 2023, he was honored to be awarded the title of People's Artist.
He passed away on the evening of October 1, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, after a period of serious illness./.
