Dong Nai Province Land Fund Development Center said that 302 projects are being implemented in the province, including 7 national key projects and 295 provincial projects.
Up to now, in 7 national key projects, including the Long Thanh International Airport project (abbreviated as Long Thanh airport), Dong Nai province has approved 7,211 cases (2,910.71 hectares of land) for compensation for site clearance for people (reaching 100%). Thanks to that, in phase 1 of the project, 2,532 hectares (reaching 100%).
For phase 2, Dong Nai province has completed handing over 868.4 hectares of land for households and individuals and 57.61 hectares of land for river and stream traffic. The remaining 1,076.2 hectares are still being implemented. For the area for constructing a closed boundary fence system for the entire 5,000 hectares of the Long Thanh airport project (the fence length is about 29.8 km), 194.9 hectares have been handed over, with a length of 29.7 km/29.8 km, reaching 99.7% of the total length and approving resettlement for 4,371 households.
For the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project phase 1, the section passing through Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province has completed compensation for 1,514 households, with a total amount of more than 1,692.9 billion VND (100%), handing over 59.5 hectares of land (100% of the area) to implement the project.
For the section through the old Long Thanh district, Dong Nai has approved and compensated 1,045 cases, an area of 77.4 hectares, with an amount of VND 868.3 billion (reaching 99.38% of the area); handed over the site of 77.65 hectares/77.91 hectares (reaching 99.9%). As for the component project 2 section through the old Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province has carried out compensation, clearance and handed over the site of 150.09 hectares (reaching 100%).
Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 Project, section passing through Dong Nai province, has approved compensation plan to support 1,267 households, reaching 100%. And, handing over the site (114.22ha), reaching 100%.
After merging Binh Phuoc province into Dong Nai province, the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh expressway project was taken over by Dong Nai. Up to now, the units have surveyed, counted the current status, verified the records... The results have reached 92% of the area; the project is in the process of waiting for the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to hand over the site clearance boundary and the project's cadastral records so that the People's Committees of the communes and wards where the project passes through can issue land reclamation notices and carry out the next steps related to compensation and site clearance.
Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project, with a total area recovered for project implementation of 837,824.7m2. Currently, Dong Nai province has completed 100% land inventory (302 plots, 233 households subject to compensation).
Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha said that the province will direct relevant departments and branches to urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee and issue new legal documents related to land acquisition, compensation and site clearance to speed up progress.
