Thanh Binh was called up to the Vietnam national team by coach Troussier.

Previously, on June 2, the French coach announced the list of 33 players called up to join the team.

Thus, including Thanh Binh, the Vietnam team's squad list will have 34 players.

Dinh Thanh Binh was born in 1998, this is also the first time he has worked with coach Troussier at the national team level.

Thanh Binh was a familiar face at all levels of the national team when he joined the U20 Vietnam team to participate in the U20 World Cup 2017, played in the U23 Asia 2020 qualifiers and the Vietnam team preparing for the Asian Cup 2019.

Thanh Binh was named by coach Park Hang-seo to compete in the 2019 Asian Cup finals but was eliminated at the last minute. Since then, he has been absent from most of the national team's training sessions.

The 25-year-old star played for HAGL's first team in 2016 but was then loaned to Viettel in 2019 and to the People's Public Security (now Hanoi Police) from 2021.

After an impressive performance to help CAHN get promoted, Thanh Binh was called by Mr. Duc to serve HAGL from the 2023 season.

In V-League 2023, he was given 8 appearances by coach Kiatisak, including 3 starting matches, scoring 1 goal.

According to plan, the Vietnamese team will start gathering from June 5, but Thanh Binh will gather later because he has to play the entire round 11 of V-League 2023 with the mountain town team.

During FIFA Day in June, the red team will have two friendly matches against Hong Kong (China) on June 15 and 5 days later will face Syria.
