Vietnam team defeated CAHN club: The match had 7 goals, a chase like in the movies

The Vietnamese team beat CAHN Club 4-3 in an internal friendly match this afternoon (September 7).

At 5:00 p.m. today (September 7), the Vietnamese team played a friendly match with the Hanoi Police Club (CAHN Club). This was the second friendly match of acting coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his team in the September training session. Before that, the Vietnamese team lost 0-4 to Nam Dinh Club, when the opponent deployed 11 foreign players.

In today's friendly match, CAHN Club used an all-domestic squad. Standing in the goal were goalkeeper Nguyen Filip, the three central defenders Dinh Trong, Viet Anh, Tuan Duong, midfielders Nguyen Van Duc, Thanh Long, Van Toan, Van Do, while Quang Hai, Duc Nam and Phan Van Duc played as strikers.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese team took the field with goalkeeper Van Chuan, central defenders Duy Manh, Thanh Chung, Xuan Manh, two wings with Tuan Tai, Quang Vinh, midfield including Duc Chien, Hoang Duc, and the trio of strikers are Ngoc Quang, Tien Linh, Tuan Hai.

Thus, acting coach Dinh Hong Vinh used the optimal framework, only testing 3 faces including Van Chuan, Tuan Tai and Duc Chien.

Unlike the match against Nam Dinh, the Vietnamese team took the initiative against the domestic players of CAHN Club. Against an opponent with similar physical strength, Tien Linh and his teammates deployed the ball well, quickly taking the initiative in the first half. Tien Linh and Tuan Hai scored goals to help the Vietnamese team lead 2-0, then Duc Nam shortened the score to 1-2.

In the second half, Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh replaced... 10 players, only keeping Ngoc Quang. One of the substitutes, Viet Hung, made his mark when he raised the score to 3-1. Although Van Do and Van Toan scored for CAHN Club after some well-organized moves, Van Vi also made his mark with the fourth goal, helping the Vietnamese team win 4-3.

Thus, the Vietnamese team completed two internal friendly matches in September, losing 0-4 to Nam Dinh and winning 4-3 against CAHN Club. The biggest success for the coaching staff was having the opportunity to test the abilities of the new recruits.

The Vietnam team will gather again in October to prepare for two matches against Nepal in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.
