
This morning (September 28), the most important competitions of the Aqua Warriors Van Don 2025 - Camel Cup tournament officially took place, bringing thousands of athletes across the sunny roads in Van Don special economic zone, Quang Ninh province.

Long distances for adults include Ultra Aqua Warriors (swim 5km - run 21km), Full Aqua Warriors (swim 3km - run 15km), Olympic Aqua Warriors (swim 1.5km - run 10km) and Sprint Aqua Warriors (swim 750m - run 5km) (Photo: Manh Quan).

Nguyen Vu Ngoc Anh (born in 2006, from Ho Chi Minh City) participated in the Aqua Warriors tournament organized by Dan Tri Newspaper and Bolt Event for the first time but won the women's Sprint Aqua Warriors championship.

Bui Ngoc Trung ( Hanoi Swimming, Cycling and Running Club) excellently won the championship of the men's Full Aqua Warriors event. Having won the Olympic championship in 2024, he said that just reaching the finish line was a success, and the championship was beyond his expectations.

Athlete Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh (Hanoi) - a familiar face of Aqua Warriors, this time won the championship in the Full Aqua Warriors women's event.
Previously, Ms. Hong Hanh often participated in Sprint or Olympics, this time she tried a more difficult distance and was happy to be the first woman to finish. Ms. Hanh said that the swimming part was difficult because of strong waves and currents, but she made a breakthrough in the running part - her forte. Tran Ha Trang (Hai Phong Swimming Club) excellently won the women's Ultra Aqua Warriors event. She was called a "warrior" when she steadfastly reached the finish line before collapsing from exhaustion and having to seek medical assistance.
Ha Trang said there was a time when she wanted to give up, but thanks to her teacher's encouragement and 3 months of persistent training, she completed the race, considering the championship an unforgettable experience in her life (Photo: Tien Tuan).
