In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station successfully completed the targets set out in the congress resolution. The Party Committee, Command Board, and the unit have united and made efforts to synchronously and effectively deploy border work measures.

Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station organized nearly 500 patrols on land and at sea with nearly 2,000 officers and soldiers participating. In coordination with the Cu Lao Cham Marine Protected Area Management Board, it organized more than 370 patrols with nearly 900 officers and soldiers participating. Every night, the unit organized 1 team/3 soldiers to patrol the area.

Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station coordinated with functional forces to inspect and control tourism activities with more than 58,000 canoes and nearly 900,000 visitors. Mobilized 320 vehicles/more than 1,000 officers and soldiers and mobilized 142 vehicles to participate in search and rescue. Used 225 vehicles/623 officers and soldiers and mobilized 54 fishing boats to participate in fire fighting and salvaging 5 ships and 2 canoes that were burned and sunk.

The unit dispatched 1,520 officers and soldiers to coordinate with forces stationed in the area to help people reinforce their houses and overcome the consequences of natural disasters. Advised and coordinated with local authorities to organize 12 propaganda sessions on IUU prevention for fishermen; distributed more than 1,000 leaflets and more than 500 national flags...

In addition, the unit annually organizes the program "Spring on the border - Tet on the islands" with a total budget of more than 500 million VND. Currently, it takes care of 3 "Foster children of the border guard station" (1 child lives and works at the unit and 2 children live with their families) and 1 student in the program "Helping children go to school".

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee of Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station for the 2025 - 2030 term; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tri Tai - Political Commissar of Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station continued to be elected to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary.
