Cu Lao Cham Border Guard Station mobilized 12 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to clean up roads filled with sand and rocks due to strong waves hitting the shore.
In Bai Lang village, Tan Hiep commune, border guards cleared wave debris that had washed up on the road to ensure safety for people traveling.
Previously, on September 27, many officers and soldiers of the unit went to each house to support the reinforcement and bracing of houses, minimizing damage when the storm made landfall.

Colonel Tran Tien Hien, Commander of the City Border Guard, said that the unit maintains continuous operation of the search and rescue information system 24/7.
At the same time, forces and vehicles are mobilized to be on standby and ready for rescue. Guard posts are also set up in key areas to prevent people and vehicles from going to sea during the ban.
Previously, the Da Nang Border Guard fired signal flares to notify ships operating at sea of the storm and to enforce a sea ban until the storm dissipates.

Border guards closely coordinate with local authorities to carefully check risky areas such as flooded areas, landslides and the possibility of flash floods to provide timely warnings, helping people proactively respond.
In emergency situations, the force quickly coordinates to organize the evacuation of people to safe shelters to protect their lives and property.
