Some information said that on the evening of August 28, Thanh Hoa police searched the private home and headquarters of Dong A Company of Cao Tien Doan, known to football fans as “Mr. Doan”. The reason has not been fully disclosed, but this news has caused a stir in the football world.
Speaking to Tien Phong, a leader of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said he had been informed of the incident but could not comment yet.
“We hope the incident will not affect the activities of Thanh Hoa Football Club. For football in particular, Mr. Doan has made valuable contributions over the years,” he said. As the President of Thanh Hoa Football Club, Mr. Cao Tien Doan is also a member of the VFF Executive Committee for the 9th term.
