The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has issued the latest Northeast Monsoon bulletin and weather forecast for the next 10 days, from tonight, February 7 to February 17, for Hanoi and the whole country.

Accordingly, tonight cold air has affected most of the Northeast.

It is forecasted that on the night of February 7, cold air will continue to affect other places in the Northeast, North Central, Northwest, then affect some places in the Central Central. Inland, strong Northeast wind level 3, coastal areas level 3-4.

From the night of February 7, the Northeast region will experience severe cold, with some places experiencing severe cold; the Northwest and North Central regions will experience severe cold, with some places experiencing severe cold. During this cold spell, the lowest temperature in the North will generally be 11-13 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North from 8-10 degrees Celsius, in the high mountains below 5 degrees Celsius in some places; in the North Central region from 14-17 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecast for regions in the next 24 to 48 hours (night of February 7 - February 9)

In the Northwest and the area from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, there will be scattered rain and light rain, except for Lai Chau - Dien Bien, where it will be sunny in the afternoon. The weather will turn cold, with some places in the highlands experiencing severe cold.

Northeast rain, light rain. Cold weather, mountainous areas have severe cold.

Other areas will have no rain at night and sunny days; however, the area from Da Nang to Binh Dinh will have scattered showers and thunderstorms on February 9.

Weather changes in the next 3-10 days (night of February 9 - February 17)

In the Northeast, there will be rain in some places. It will be cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe cold. From February 14, the night and morning will be cold.

In the Northwest and North Central regions, from the night of February 9 to 12, it will be cold, with some places experiencing severe cold; from February 13, it will be cold at night and in the morning.

The area from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh from around the night of February 9-12 will have rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, locally heavy rain.

Other areas have no rain at night, sunny during the day, except in the Southeast where some places are hot.
