An Giang: Bird's nest house fire in the middle of the night

At 1:00 a.m. on October 10, at apartment A5-6 Ly Thai To street, Ly Thai To quarter, Rach Gia ward (An Giang province), a fire broke out on the rooftop of a bird's nest house.

Immediately after the fire broke out, the people around shouted and together with the homeowner informed the neighboring homeowners. However, the fire occurred on the top floor, so people could not approach.

Immediately after receiving the news, the fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue forces of An Giang Provincial Police quickly arrived at the scene. The fire fighting force involved about 40 people, including 9 militiamen, the rest were police and security guards; there were 3 fire trucks.

By 2:30 a.m. the same day, the fire was extinguished. The fire did not cause any human casualties. Property damage and the cause of the fire are under investigation.
