'Under the light of glory' celebrating the success of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress

On the evening of October 15, an art program celebrating the success of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, titled 'Under the glorious light' took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program Under the Glorious Light starts at 7:30 p.m. on October 15 at three stages in Saigon Ward, Binh Duong Ward and Ba Ria Ward, Ho Chi Minh City; broadcast live on Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television, and other media infrastructures of the city.

The program is directed by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City and implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City Art Center.

The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, was held from October 13 to 15. At the opening session, General Secretary To Lam said: "Ho Chi Minh City must be the source of innovation, spreading the aspiration for development."

After three working days, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress was a great success with discussions and resolutions bearing the mark of innovation and breakthrough.

Hundreds of artists perform to celebrate the city's new era

Opening the program, singer Dao Mac, Lac Viet dance group, Phuong Nam choir, and symphony orchestra performed the medley Party Flag - Vietnam, Oh Spring Has Come.

Continuing the art program, at Binh Duong ward, the performance Under the Glorious Party Flag was performed by Binh Duong Cultural Center; People's Artist Ta Minh Tam sang "You are the belief in certain victory" with the choir and dance troupe; the White Cloud group sang "The First Spring", "Vietnam on a New Day" by musician Nguyen Van Chung was performed by singer Trung Quang; the song "You are the sprout of the Party" was performed by little Xuan Nghi and other children.

A series of heroic and spirited songs for the young generation were performed by many artists on three stages such as: Youthful Aspiration; Sea, Earth and Sky; Ho Chi Minh City, Shining Faith. Each performance had the participation of dozens of singers, dancers, soldiers, and athletes, expressing the solidarity of the army and people of Ho Chi Minh City.

During the 50-year journey of reconstruction and development, Binh Duong has become an industrial engine; Ba Ria - Vung Tau is like a door to the sea; Ho Chi Minh City is where generations have created a vibrant, creative, and affectionate life.

These three regions today no longer stand alone, but merge together like three branches of a river flowing into the ocean. The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee is promoting the power of resonance, keeping pace with the breath of the times.

After the first two chapters, Forever Faith and Radiant City , the program comes to the final chapter, Pride of Vietnam . The song series Hello City - New Vitality in Uncle Ho's City is performed by the group Mat Ngoc and the Bong Sen Folk Music and Dance Theater; Let Me Be a Vietnamese - a song by musician Quy Hai - performed by singer Duyen Quynh and children.

There were two different performances with a rock style: the song Rise up Ho Chi Minh City with the group MTV; and the song Bay qua bien Dong sung by Phuong Thanh and the group Nhat Nguyet.

Vietnam Pride - Glory is waiting for us by Vo Ha Tram, Hoang Hai and the HBSO orchestra has a grand stage design with the symbols of bronze drums and Lac birds. Closing the program is the song "Aspiration for Power" with singers Vo Ha Tram, Hoang Hai, Khanh Ngoc, Dao Mac, Duyen Huyen... followed by the background music of the song " Spring in Ho Chi Minh City".

Ho Chi Minh City today is about to enter a new harvest season, a season of aspiration and faith. Brightly lit avenues, modern industrial buildings, lecture halls open to knowledge, festivals, songs, chants… all combine to form a unique identity, both dynamic and creative, and deeply meaningful.

The success of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress is the "opening drumbeat", a promise to the future, building a global city.
