Providing more information on the work of receiving support for people affected by natural disasters and floods, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Social Mobilization Department (Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front), said that statistics show that about 39% of the number of supporters transferred money to accounts but did not disclose their identities. Many singers, actors, and influencers also contributed and supported through the Fatherland Front system.

Mr. Thao affirmed that the work of receiving support and allocating support resources are carried out openly and transparently.

Sharing more, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations Nguyen Thai Hoc emphasized that all the money donated to the Cuban people and to the people affected by floods must go to the right people, to the right address, to the right place, and must not be lost or leaked.

“Losing this money is a crime against the people,” Mr. Hoc emphasized, while also requesting transparency in receiving and allocating support resources.

According to him, only households that are hungry, cold, or suffering heavy damage or loss will receive support money, but if they do not suffer damage but receive it, the support is meaningless.
