Timely overcome existing problems and promote the progress of works and projects in Dong Nai

This is an inspection carried out under Plan No. 1505/KH-TTCP dated July 22, 2025 of the Government Inspectorate on specialized inspection of the above-mentioned works and projects.

At the conference, representatives of the inspection teams announced the contents of 4 thematic inspection conclusions on works and projects. In which, they pointed out the causes leading to the situation of slow progress, prolonged backlog, low efficiency, risk of loss and waste in some works and projects in the province; at the same time, they proposed specific handling measures, requiring relevant agencies and units to seriously implement them to ensure deterrence, publicity and transparency.

In order to seriously and effectively implement the inspection conclusions, Chief Inspector of the province Vo Thi Xuan Dao requested: Investors of inspected works and projects must seriously implement the recommendations stated in the conclusions; develop a roadmap, progress and specific deadline for each content; and at the same time report the results to the Provincial Inspectorate fully and on time.

The heads of relevant agencies and units are directly responsible for directing the overcoming of limitations and thoroughly handling existing problems; if there are delays, shirking of responsibility or additional violations, they will be held responsible before the law.

For competent state management agencies, it is necessary to resolutely handle violations and shortcomings; at the same time, proactively review, advise on amending and supplementing regulations and procedures in the management of construction investment, land, site clearance, bidding, etc. to promptly overcome limitations and prevent recurrence.

To implement these conclusions, the Provincial Inspectorate is responsible for strengthening monitoring, urging, and checking the implementation; if it detects that agencies, units, and investors are slow or unserious, it will recommend that the Provincial People's Committee and competent authorities consider and handle the responsibility of relevant collectives and individuals according to the provisions of law.

The announcement and implementation of the conclusions of this thematic inspection are an important basis to rectify and improve the efficiency of management and use of public investment resources; promptly overcome shortcomings and limitations, contributing to promoting the progress of works and projects in Dong Nai province.

Previously, in early August 2025, the Provincial Inspectorate announced inspection decisions on 74 projects and works that still had difficulties, obstacles, slow progress, and risks of loss and waste in the province. These include: Binh Da Residential Area; Dong Dai Mountain Residential Area (Phuoc Tan Ward); Amata Long Thanh 2 Service Urban Area; Amata Long Thanh City; Residential Area according to planning in Phuoc Thien Commune; Residential Area in Dai Phuoc Commune...
