Promoting Vietnam-North Korea relations to develop more practically and effectively

General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un agreed to promote the bilateral relationship to a more practical and effective stage of development.

On the morning of October 9 (local time), at the Pyongyang Sports Palace, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un presided over the welcoming ceremony for General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation on a state visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Immediately after the welcoming ceremony, at the Central Headquarters of the Workers' Party of Korea, in a sincere, friendly and open atmosphere, the two leaders had a general exchange on the situation in each country, Vietnam-DPRK relations and international and regional issues of mutual concern./.
