Nearly 500 athletes compete in the 2025 National Youth Boxing Championship

VHO - The 2025 National Youth Boxing Championship officially kicked off on the evening of July 19 at Tran Quoc Toan Gymnasium (Nam Dinh ward, Ninh Binh province).

The event attracted the attention of many fans and marked the strong development of the youth Boxing movement across the country.

The tournament attracted a large number of young athletes to participate.

This year's tournament brings together nearly 500 athletes from 27 provinces, cities and industries nationwide.

Athletes compete in 3 age groups: 12-13, 14-15 and 16-17 years old.

This is considered an important playground to discover, train and select promising faces for the national youth Boxing team in the future.

On the first day of competition, nearly 30 matches took place excitingly, bringing many emotions to the audience.

The matches were of high professional quality, demonstrating thorough investment from localities as well as the clear progress of young boxers.

The fierce competition, fair-play spirit and increasingly improved techniques of the athletes have affirmed the strong and even development of Boxing in Vietnam.

The tournament promises to have many exciting competitions.

The representative of the Organizing Committee said that the 2025 National Youth Boxing Championship is not only an opportunity for athletes to compete and accumulate competition experience, but also an opportunity to evaluate the professional capacity of coaches and the training quality of units.

In particular, this is an important preparation step for young boxers before entering international arenas in the near future.

The tournament will take place continuously until July 25 with hundreds of exciting matches expected to continue to bring top performances from the next generation of boxers.

The success of this tournament promises to create momentum for the sustainable development of youth boxing, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese boxing on the regional and international sports map.
