Ban Ve Hydropower Company gives support to women in difficulty after storm and flood in Anh Son commune

Ban Ve Hydropower Company coordinated with the Women's Union of Anh Son commune to organize a gift-giving program for female members in difficult circumstances, severely affected by storms and floods in 2025.

On October 15, Ban Ve Hydropower Company presented 20 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, with a total support amount of 20 million VND. Although the gifts were not large, they were practical and timely, encouraging the members to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Previously, due to the impact of storm No. 10, Anh Son commune suffered heavy damage. According to statistics, the whole commune had 302 houses flooded under 1 meter and 500 houses flooded over 1 meter, affecting about 4,100 people, including many women members in difficult circumstances, suffering great damage to property and daily life.

This gift-giving activity not only demonstrates the social responsibility of Ban Ve Hydropower Company, but is also part of a series of community programs that the company has been implementing in many communes in Nghe An province. Accompanying women in flood-affected areas on the occasion of the Vietnamese Women's Day October 20 has a special meaning, contributing to adding motivation for members to overcome difficulties, be more confident in life and continue to promote their role in family and society.
