At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious traditions of Vietnamese women through the ages. At each stage of the country’s development, Vietnamese women have made their mark with typical movements, typically: “Three responsibilities”, “Five good women”, “Good at public affairs, good at housework”…

Along with women across the country, Quang Ninh women always uphold the tradition of Vietnamese women. Especially, in the period of innovation and integration, Quang Ninh women continue to affirm their role in many fields, being the core force in patriotic emulation movements; effectively uniting to implement resolutions of the Party, Women's Unions at all levels and Quang Ninh province.
In many consecutive terms of the province, many female cadres have participated in key leadership positions in the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Some communes and wards have a proportion of women in the Party Committees and Standing Committees of 40-55%, such as: Binh Lieu, Quang Yen, Ba Che, Tien Yen...

Departments, branches, sectors, unions, administrative agencies, and public service units of the province all have female comrades participating in the leadership and management apparatus, actively contributing to the political system of women. In addition, Quang Ninh women also promote their core role in building prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized families; preserving traditional culture, taking care of community health, spreading a compassionate lifestyle; taking the lead in the movement "All people protect national security" to contribute to building a safe, stable, and developed locality...
