With the view that farmers in the new era are not only strong in economy but also strong in politics , culture and society, farmers' associations at all levels in the province have also implemented many activities to encourage and motivate farmer members to develop their thinking, intelligence and physical strength. Every month, the branches maintain the dissemination and propaganda of the State's policies, guidelines and laws to farmer members. At the same time, they organize thematic meetings to learn about loans, experiences in economic development to get rich, application of science and technology, digital transformation in production...
At the same time, the activities of branches and groups are also innovated in terms of content and form in a practical and effective direction, associated with promoting the representative role, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members and farmers; developing branches, professional associations, clubs, production association groups, credit loan groups, etc. to gather farmers to participate in the association organization.
In order to build a truly strong Association, worthy of being the "support" of farmers, in recent years, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have always paid attention to training and improving the quality of the Association's staff. Training, coaching and skill development are conducted regularly, in the direction of standardization, professionalism and closeness to the grassroots, helping Association staff have a strong political stance, understanding of practice, and the ability to mobilize and gather farmers.
The Provincial Farmers' Association has implemented many synchronous solutions such as: Organizing professional training courses, exchanging experiences between the bases; encouraging young, qualified, and dynamic cadres to participate in the Association's work; at the same time, rotating and arranging cadres in accordance with their capacity and strengths. Thanks to that, the Association's cadres are increasingly mature, dedicated to their work, truly becoming a "trusted bridge" between the Party, the government and farmer members, contributing significantly to improving the effectiveness of the Association's activities in the new period.
Building a generation of rich, confident, integrated farmers
Over the years, the Farmers' Association of Quang Ninh province has always affirmed its role in accompanying and leading farmers to comprehensive development, contributing to building a new generation of farmers "rich in knowledge, confident in integration, and legitimate enrichment". Through the movement "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty", the Association has created a vibrant competitive atmosphere, attracting more than 60,000 members to participate each year, becoming an important driving force to promote the spirit of creativity and aspiration of Quang Ninh farmers. From the movement, many effective production and business models have been formed, associated with green agricultural development, building civilized rural areas and promoting local brands. Many farming households not only enrich themselves, but also create jobs, support capital, share experiences to help disadvantaged households develop the economy , and spread the spirit of solidarity and humanity in the community.
Along with that, the Association effectively promoted the Farmers Support Fund with a capital of nearly 83 billion VND, helping thousands of members access preferential capital to expand production; at the same time, coordinated with banks to lend farmers more than 2,000 billion VND, creating favorable conditions for investment in economic development, improving income and quality of life.
Not only supporting farmers to get rich, the Association at all levels is also a guide to help members grasp the trend of digital transformation and modern economic integration through training courses, equipping skills in using smartphones, e-commerce platforms... Thanks to that, many OCOP products owned by farmer members have been promoted and consumed on e-commerce platforms such as: Ocopquangninh.com.vn, Postmart.vn, Voso.vn, Sendo.vn...; many households have proactively livestreamed to sell products, building their own brands for local agricultural products. This is an important step forward, demonstrating the dynamism and quick adaptation to the digital economic trend of "farmers 4.0".
Entering a new stage of development, the Provincial Farmers' Association is determined to continue to play a core role in building the image of Quang Ninh farmers as confident, integrated, creative and responsible. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, President of the Provincial Farmers' Association, affirmed: The Association always determines its responsibility to accompany its members. Our goal is not only to help farmers get rich, but also to help them become civilized citizens, with courage and confidence to integrate internationally, contributing with the Party Committee, government and people of the whole province to realize the aspiration of building Quang Ninh into a model province with sustainable development.
In that spirit, the Farmers’ Associations at all levels in the province will focus on innovating their methods of operation and promoting the improvement of the quality of farmers’ movements. At the same time, effectively implementing support, consulting and guidance programs, creating the most favorable conditions for members to develop economically and improve the position of farmers in the new situation. Thereby, promoting the role of members and farmers in building the Party, the government and the great national unity bloc, together with the country entering a new era.
