Agribank Bac Giang Branch spends 1 billion VND to support customers and people affected by floods

BAC NINH - Pursuant to the direction of the General Director of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank) on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters caused by floods, Agribank Bac Giang Branch has decided to spend 1 billion VND from the 2025 Social Security Fund for the Head Office and Type II branches to support the locality and people in the province to overcome the consequences caused by floods.

Accordingly, the above amount is allocated to Agribank Headquarters Bac Giang Branch 100 million VND; Agribank Viet Yen Branch 300 million VND; Agribank Hiep Hoa Branch 300 million VND; Agribank Tan Yen Branch 270 million VND and Agribank Yen Dung Branch 30 million VND.

Comrade Luong Van Noi, Director of Agribank Bac Giang Branch and the working delegation presented 50 million VND to support Da Mai ward to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 11.

On October 14, Agribank Bac Giang Branch organized 5 working groups to localities affected by storm No. 11 to hand over support money to local authorities and damaged customers.

Previously, immediately after learning about the damage caused by the flood, Agribank Bac Giang Branch launched a campaign among the staff of the entire system to raise 210 million VND. This amount was directly supported by Agribank Bac Giang Branch to people affected by storm No. 11.
