The temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang consists of three main buildings: Bai Duong, Thieu Huong and Chinh Cung. The temple stands out with its sophisticated stone sculptures from the 17th and 19th centuries. Decorative details such as dragons, phoenixes, and lotus flowers not only honor the king but also represent the national spirit. In particular, the Long Bed in the Dragon Courtyard is carved from a single block of green stone with a large dragon motif, symbolizing royal power and the wish for favorable weather.

The Temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang is an important historical relic belonging to the Hoa Lu ancient capital heritage complex, located in Truong Yen commune, Hoa Lu city, Ninh Binh province, Vietnam. The temple is located in a prime location, in front of Ma Yen mountain (shaped like a saddle, on the mountain is the tomb of King Dinh Tien Hoang) as a screen, behind is Phi Van mountain range as a backrest. The temple was built on the foundation of the ancient Hoa Lu capital palace.
