This is a meaningful activity to introduce and promote the unique values of typical art forms of the province to the young generation, contributing to nurturing love, awareness of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.

132 students of Nguyen Hue Secondary School had an exciting journey of experience. At the beginning of the program, they learned about two unique art forms: Tuong and Bai Choi Opera.
Through the introduction of the staff and artists, students not only learned more about the costumes, performance props; famous artists and achievements of the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater but also understood more clearly about the history of formation, characteristics of Tuong art as well as the unique features of Bai Choi Opera.

The highlight of the experience was watching an excerpt of the play “Quang Trung ascends the throne” performed by artists and actors of Dao Tan Tuong Troupe. With the emotional performances of the artists, students further understood and appreciated the heroic historical values of the nation.
In the folk Bai Choi singing performance, under the enthusiastic guidance of the artist, the children were able to hold the cards to experience. They also interacted with the artist, making the atmosphere even more exciting. Doan Thao Vy (class 7A1, Nguyen Hue Secondary School) expressed: "I really like listening to Bai Choi opera because it is close, cheerful, and humorous. I feel proud of the traditional art of the land of Vo".

Not only enjoying, the students also experienced being “little artists” when participating in the activity of drawing Tuong masks. From the mask models prepared by the Organizing Committee, each meticulous brushstroke of the students portrayed the faces of Tuong characters.
Nguyen Le Nhat Linh (class 7A3, Nguyen Hue Secondary School) shared: “Through the drawings and colors of the masks, I can feel the “fierce”, “upright” or “gentle” personality of the character. Drawing a mask is very meticulous and takes a lot of time, so I understand more clearly the dedication of artists and actors to their profession.”
Also participating in the series of experiential activities, Le Phu Hoai An (class 7A1, Le Hong Phong Secondary School) had an unforgettable feeling: “This is the first time I have participated in so many useful activities. I have recorded the information shared by the artists of the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater to serve the related subjects. I also got to bring home a mask I drew myself as a souvenir.”

The activities brought joy and useful experiences to the students. Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Phuong - Vice Principal of Nguyen Hue Secondary School said: When implementing the plan to organize experiential activities, the students were all excited to register to participate. This activity helps them gain more knowledge to study local education subjects better, and at the same time form a sense of responsibility in preserving and conserving traditional art forms of the nation.
