Rice price today October 7
Rice prices today (October 7) in the Mekong Delta region are mostly stable, without much fluctuation. According to a survey, the price of common raw rice such as IR 504 is fluctuating between 7,700 and 7,850 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the price of finished rice OM 380 is commonly traded between 8,800 and 9,000 VND/kg.
At retail markets, the price of rice is also stable. Some specialty rices have high prices, typically Nang Nhen rice is listed at up to 28,000 VND/kg.
Other popular fragrant rice varieties such as Jasmine rice or Japanese rice are priced around 22,000 VND/kg. For the regular rice group, the common price is around 13,000 to 14,000 VND/kg.
Along with the rice market, raw rice prices also remain stable. Popular rice varieties such as IR 50404 are currently purchased at prices ranging from 5,700 to 5,900 VND/kg in fresh form.
High-quality fragrant rice varieties such as Nang Hoa 9 or OM 18 are priced slightly higher, ranging from 6,000 to 6,200 VND/kg.
Regarding exports, the price of Vietnamese rice in the world market today remained stable compared to the previous session.
According to a report from the Vietnam Food Association, 5% broken fragrant rice is currently priced at around $455-$460 per ton, while higher-grade Jasmine rice is priced at $545-$549 per ton.
Vietnam's rice export activities are showing very positive signs. According to data from the ministries, in the first 8 months of 2025 alone, our country exported 6.3 million tons of rice, bringing in 3.17 billion USD in revenue.
Exports are forecast to increase strongly in the last months of the year thanks to large import demand from African and Chinese markets.
It is expected that by 2025, Vietnam will export more than 8.2 million tons, consolidating its position as one of the world's leading rice exporting countries, thanks to its increasingly popular quality rice brand.

Coffee price today October 7, 2025
Domestic coffee prices today dropped sharply from 2,000 to 2,500 VND/kg compared to the previous trading session.
In the Central Highlands, the common trading price fluctuates between 114,000 and 115,000 VND/kg. Specifically, the price in Dak Nong and Dak Lak is listed at 115,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the price in Gia Lai is 114,500 VND/kg and in Lam Dong is 114,000 VND/kg.
In contrast to the domestic market, world coffee prices witnessed a downward session. On the London floor, Robusta coffee futures for November 2025 fell 1.23%, equivalent to 56 USD, to close at 4,471 USD/ton. Contracts for later terms such as January 2026 also recorded a similar decline.
The downward trend also appeared in the Arabica coffee segment. On the New York floor, the Arabica contract for December 2025 delivery fell sharply by 2.4%, equivalent to 9.4 US cents, to 381.35 US cents/lb.
Pepper price today October 7, 2025
Domestic pepper prices are flat today. The common market price is currently fluctuating between 145,000 and 147,000 VND/kg.
In the Central Highlands, pepper prices in Dak Lak and Dak Nong are at the highest level of 147,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Gia Lai recorded the lowest price of 145,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City (former Ba Ria - Vung Tau area) and Dong Nai also have the same price of 146,000 VND/kg.
In the world market, Indonesia is a hot spot with strong fluctuations. The price of Lampung black pepper of this country has increased sharply by 2.93%, reaching 7,225 USD/ton. The price of white pepper has also increased by 1.41%, reaching 10,080 USD/ton. Meanwhile, the Malaysian market has kept the same price, with black pepper at 9,500 USD/ton and white pepper at 12,500 USD/ton. Pepper prices from Brazil are currently trading at 6,200 USD/ton.
Vietnam’s pepper export prices remain stable today. Black pepper of 500g/l is quoted at 6,600 USD/ton, while 550g/l is priced higher at 6,800 USD/ton. For white pepper, the listed price is 9,250 USD/ton.
Rubber price today October 7, 2025
Domestic rubber prices today mainly remained stable, without many fluctuations at major purchasing enterprises.
Specifically, Ba Ria Rubber Company listed the price of liquid latex at 405 VND per TSC degree, while the price of DRC latex was 14,200 VND/kg.
Similarly, other companies such as Binh Long Company, Phu Rieng Company and Mang Yang Company also maintain stable prices for latex and mixed latex, with different purchasing prices depending on quality and location.
Meanwhile, the world rubber market witnessed a down session. On Japan's Tocom exchange, RSS3 rubber futures for November delivery fell sharply by 6.23%, equivalent to 19.80 Yen, to 297.70 Yen/kg.
The downward trend also appeared in other trading centers, when rubber prices on the Shanghai (China) and SGX (Singapore) exchanges both retreated to lower levels.
The global market landscape is supported by strong import demand from China. According to data from the country's General Administration of Customs, in the first eight months of 2025, China imported 5.53 million tons of rubber, worth up to $10.53 billion, up 18% and 34.6% year-on-year, respectively.
Of which, Thailand continues to be the largest supplier, accounting for 35.6% of the market share. Notably, Vietnam holds the second position in terms of supply, although the export volume to China decreased slightly by 3.4%, the value increased by 18.7%, reflecting the increased value in this item.
Pig price today October 7, 2025
The price of live pigs in the North today has slightly decreased in some localities. Provinces such as Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang and Thai Nguyen all recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND, bringing the price down to 54,000 VND/kg.
Some other areas such as Hanoi, Hai Phong and neighboring provinces still maintain a stable price of 55,000 VND/kg. In general, prices in the region are currently fluctuating between 53,000 and 55,000 VND/kg.
In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the price of live pigs also decreased. Many provinces such as Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang and Gia Lai all recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg. This made the lowest price in the region at 50,000 VND/kg in Gia Lai.
On the contrary, Lam Dong is the locality with the highest price, still maintained at 55,000 VND/kg.
The Southern market fluctuated insignificantly with a slight decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in some provinces. Specifically, An Giang, Ca Mau and Vinh Long are the places with adjusted prices. Currently, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh continue to lead with the highest price in the region at 56,000 VND/kg, while Vinh Long has the lowest price at 53,000 VND/kg.
Regarding retail pork prices, the WinMart system is applying a fairly stable price and has many incentives. The price of pork products here currently fluctuates from 115,122 to 163,122 VND/kg.
