122 excellent works entered the final round of the Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese culture"

On the afternoon of October 9, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a press conference to inform about the final round of the Third National Press Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese culture" - 2025.

With the aim of honoring outstanding journalistic works that contribute to promoting the cause of building and developing Vietnamese culture, the National Journalism Award "For the cause of developing Vietnamese culture" continues to affirm its position as one of the prestigious professional awards, attracting the deep attention of press agencies, reporters and the public.

In just nearly 4 months of launching, as of August 10, 2025, the Secretariat - Synthesis of the award has received 1,040 works from most central and local press agencies.

After the screening process, 927 works qualified for the competition and were entered into the preliminary round, including Print Newspaper: 223 works; Electronic Newspaper: 385 works; Radio: 45 works; Television: 103 works; Photo Newspaper: 171 works.

From there, the Preliminary Subcommittees selected 122 best works for the final round, including 25 print works, 30 electronic newspapers, 22 radio, 25 television and 20 photojournalism.

According to the assessment of the Preliminary Council, this year's entries are not only diverse in genre and rich in topics, but also of high professional quality, vividly reflecting the picture of Vietnamese culture in the period 2024 - 2025.

The summary and award ceremony is expected to take place in November 2025 in Hanoi , promising to be a festival for journalists in the cultural field - a place to honor creative contributions, spreading the values ​​of truth - goodness - beauty in social life.
