Durian price today August 27: Ri6 price drops, Thai durian hits 100,000 VND/kg

Ri6 durian price drops to 20,000 VND/kg, Thai durian stays at 100,000 VND/kg, export maintains growth.

Domestic durian price developments

On August 27, the durian market in the main growing regions remained stable but there was a strong differentiation between varieties. Ri6 price dropped to around 20,000 VND/kg, while the price of good quality Thai durian continued to be high, in some places reaching 100,000 VND/kg.

Price in Southeast

In the Southeast region, Ri6 type A fluctuates at 42,000 - 48,000 VND/kg, type B is about 28,000 - 32,000 VND/kg, type C is commonly 24,000 - 26,000 VND/kg. Thai durian type A is sold at 82,000 - 86,000 VND/kg, type B is 62,000 - 66,000 VND/kg. The VIP line reaches the highest price of 100,000 VND/kg.

Thai durian grade A is 86,000 - 90,000 VND/kg, grade B is 66,000 - 70,000 VND/kg, VIP grade is up to 105,000 VND/kg. Musang King remains stable: grade A is 70,000 - 78,000 VND/kg, grade B is about 50,000 - 55,000 VND/kg.
