Bao Yen Commune joins hands to support people in flood-hit areas of Thai Nguyen

In recent days, when the people of Thai Nguyen province had to suffer severe consequences due to floods, the spirit of "mutual love and support" was once again lit up in Bao Yen land - where love and kindness always spread strongly.

Implementing the direction of the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front Committee and socio -political organizations of Bao Yen commune, the movement "Towards the flood-affected people of Thai Nguyen" has been widely launched, receiving enthusiastic response from cadres, party members, civil servants, union members, association members and people of the whole commune.

Agencies, units and people of Bao Yen commune support necessities to support people in flood areas.

With the spirit of "helping each other", the whole commune mobilized and donated hundreds of essential goods such as rice, drinking water, milk, instant noodles, salt, MSG, shampoo, shower gel, towels, soap... and many other daily necessities.

Up to now, Bao Yen commune has mobilized 300 gifts, each containing all essential goods and 200,000 VND, to send to households severely affected by floods. In particular, 20 gifts worth 1,000,000 VND each were given to families in especially difficult circumstances, suffering serious damage to people and property.

Along with that, Bao Yen commune also donated 2 tons of rice, 200 boxes of instant noodles, 100 boxes of filtered water, along with books, generators, blankets, clothes, pots and pans... to support schools and residential areas in some disadvantaged communes of Thai Nguyen province, helping people to soon stabilize their lives after the natural disaster.

Essential goods were delivered directly to people in flooded areas.

This meaningful activity was accompanied by the Binh Mau Restaurant Volunteer Group, typical organizations and individuals from Xuan Hoa, Nghia Do, Phuc Khanh, Thuong Ha communes, Lao Cai ward, along with free transportation support from Tien Dung and The Phong bus companies (Bao Yen commune), Dung Luong bus company (Thuong Ha commune).

Although the gifts are not large in material value, they contain the sharing heart, solidarity spirit and deep social responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of Bao Yen commune, with the message: "Bao Yen is always by Thai Nguyen's side in times of trouble and difficulty."
