World oil prices
At 6:00 a.m. on February 23, Brent crude oil was trading at $83.67 per barrel, up $0.64 from early this morning. WTI crude oil was at $78.61 per barrel, up $0.7 from early this morning.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet has approved sending negotiators to ceasefire talks taking place in Paris as pressure mounts in the Middle East, Israeli army radio reported on Monday, Reuters reported.
Meanwhile, Houthi forces continue to attack ships in the Red Sea and other waters, deploying unmanned submarines.
“The situation in the Red Sea continues to escalate,” said John Kilduff, a partner at New York-based Again Capital, adding that the market is starting to see that this is “an issue that is not going away.”
Domestic gasoline prices
From 3:00 p.m. on February 22, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 360 VND/liter, selling price is 22,470 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased by 320 VND/liter, selling price is 23,590 VND/liter.
Similarly, diesel 0.05S decreased by VND451/liter, not higher than VND20,910/liter; kerosene decreased by VND300/liter, not higher than VND20,921/liter; mazut 180CST 3.5S increased by VND23/kg, not higher than VND15,929/kg.
In this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to set aside the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for mazut oil at 300 VND/kg, and not set aside the BOG Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil and kerosene.
This is the third time domestic gasoline prices have decreased and the first time since Tet. Since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 7 adjustments, including 2 decreases and 5 increases.
