"Footsteps of the Congress - Beat of Heritage 2025" race in Con Son-Kiep Bac

On September 28, at the Con Son-Kiep Bac special national relic site, Hai Phong city held the "Footsteps of the Congress - Heritage Beat 2025" race. The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong in coordination with Tran Hung Dao ward, attracting about 1,200 athletes, along with a large number of residents and tourists.

The race is not only a practical activity to celebrate the success of the first Hai Phong City Party Congress (term 2025-2030) but also an opportunity to promote the value of the world cultural heritage of Con Son - Kiep Bac to friends at home and abroad.

The event contributes to promoting green tourism , creating opportunities for tourists to visit, experience and learn about the history, culture and people of Hai Phong.

On the route surrounding Con Son Lake, athletes competed in two distances of 5km and 10km, creating a vibrant atmosphere, promoting the widespread sports movement, and strengthening solidarity in the community.

Female athletes won first, second and third prizes (10km distance) on the podium.

Comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, directly participated in the 10km run. He shared his joy and excitement when immersing himself in the mass sports atmosphere at the heritage site, and at the same time emphasized the significance of health training in life: "Health is the foundation for a happy life, each person should choose for themselves a suitable sport to maintain regular practice".

With the response of many people, the race "Footsteps of the Congress - Heartbeat of Heritage 2025" has become a meaningful sports festival, spreading the message of healthy and beautiful living, while honoring pride in national cultural heritage.
