With the characteristics of the electricity industry, ensuring the safety corridor of high voltage power grids and guiding the safe use of electricity in the community is always a key task. At PC Hue , engineer Le Trong Phuoc Son is the person directly in charge of this field - a quiet but important job in preventing accidents and protecting people's lives.

Currently, violations of the grid protection corridor or unsafe use of electricity in the community still occur, leaving many unfortunate consequences. Realizing that, Mr. Phuoc Son always proactively advises the leaders of PC Hue in organizing, implementing and monitoring the work of ensuring electrical safety. He is the focal point for coordinating activities between PC Hue and local authorities and related departments, agencies and units to widely propagate to the community.

Not only simply propagandizing, he also directly compiled lectures, collected images and documents about electrical accidents that had occurred, made teaching materials, and vivid visual propaganda to the staff of the department and grassroots offices. Thanks to that, the propaganda work is not only a formality but also has a strong impact on people's awareness. "To propagate effectively, it must be done like a steady rain that soaks in over time," Mr. Phuoc Son shared.

From the above thinking, Mr. Phuoc Son persistently organized many diverse forms of propaganda: printing warning signs at points where power lines pass through planted forests, distributing leaflets, organizing direct dialogues with people in communes, villages, and hamlets... Printed signs such as: "Please contact us when clearing or harvesting planted forests" have helped people proactively coordinate with the electricity industry, minimizing the risk of unfortunate accidents.

Mr. Phuoc Son is not afraid of hardships, participating in the construction of large national power projects.

Mr. Phuoc Son also regularly advises customers on how to use electricity safely, such as: checking the lines after the meter, avoiding arbitrary connections, using equipment with the right capacity, not letting the wires peel off or overload, etc. It is these sincere and close recommendations from this engineer that have helped people raise awareness and proactively prevent safety risks.

Responsibility in every action and work

Not only dedicated to propaganda work, Mr. Phuoc Son is also exemplary in performing professional duties and emulation movements in the unit. Throughout his work, he has always completed his tasks excellently, strictly followed labor discipline and internal regulations of the electricity industry.

He is also an active member of the Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue (PCTT&TKCN) shock team of PC Hue: he was the Team Leader of the team to fix power grid problems caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi) in Quang Ninh, participated in supporting the construction of the 500kV line circuit 3 in Ha Tinh - projects with high technical requirements, complex construction conditions and requiring a great sense of discipline and responsibility.

In addition to his technical duties, Mr. Phuoc Son also plays an important role in implementing grassroots mass mobilization programs. He regularly coordinates with local authorities to mobilize people to implement the Party and State's policies and guidelines on occupational safety and hygiene, natural disaster prevention, and power grid infrastructure protection. In particular, he actively promotes propaganda at schools, helping students understand and form habits of safe electricity use from an early age.

Thanks to that perseverance and dedication, in recent years, in the area managed by PC Hue, the number of electrical accidents in the community has decreased significantly. People are increasingly aware of protecting the power grid corridor and using electricity economically and effectively.

With the above practical and effective contributions, engineer Le Trong Phuoc Son was commended by the Provincial Party Committee (now the City Party Committee) as an outstanding individual in the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement in 2024; for many consecutive years, he has been commended by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) and PC Hue for his professional achievements as well as for his emulation movement.
