Born in 1997 in Dong Anh ( Hanoi ), Nguyen Quang Hai is known as one of the most promising football talents of Vietnam in recent years. He made a strong impression with the "rainbow snow" goal at the 2018 AFC U23 Championship in Changzhou (China), contributing to the historic miracle when U23 Vietnam won the continental runner-up position. Since then, the name Quang Hai has always been associated with the great achievements of the country's football: winning the 2018 AFF Cup, the 2019 SEA Games Gold Medal, and many memorable matches in the World Cup qualifiers.

Over the years, Quang Hai has made important contributions, helping to bring great achievements to the Vietnam National Team.

Not only affirming his talent domestically, Quang Hai also had a period of playing in Europe, carrying the aspiration of reaching international level of Vietnamese football. Returning to V-League, he continues to be the soul in the playing style of the clubs he plays for, namely Hanoi FC and currently Hanoi Police, as well as the national team.

What makes Quang Hai so special is not only his excellent technique or sharp tactical thinking, but also his will, resilience and tireless competitive spirit. On the field, every move and every goal reflects his desire to contribute and play his best for the team, for the fans and for national pride.

Therefore, Quang Hai being honored at the Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism along with 12 other outstanding athletes is a worthy recognition for a tireless and persistent journey, affirming that he is a symbol of patriotic emulation spirit in sports.

Honored to be one of the delegates contributing to the Congress, Nguyen Quang Hai expressed: "The Patriotic Emulation Movement in Sports is the driving force that motivates me and my teammates to constantly train, overcome difficulties and challenges. Competition is not only to win on the field, but also to compete in will, courage and dedication. Each goal, each collective achievement is the crystallization of silent sacrifice in training, team cohesion and the love of millions of fans. I believe that sports achievements in general, and football in particular, not only bring joy but also contribute to arousing national pride, spreading love for the homeland, and fostering the aspirations of the young generation of Vietnam."

Not only receiving recognition from experts and fans with noble titles such as: Vietnam Golden Ball 2018, Silver Ball 2019 and 2021, Bronze Ball 2017; many times voted into the Typical Team of V.League as well as regional tournaments; Best Player of AFF Cup 2018; Best Male Player of Southeast Asia 2019.... The player born in 1997 was honored to be awarded the Second Class Labor Medal by the State in 2018; Third Class Labor Medal in 2018 and 2025, along with many Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Hanoi People's Committee. These are noble awards, a great recognition and encouragement for me to constantly strive, maintain moral qualities, and contribute to the country's sports career.
