The camera bezel on the iPhone 17 Pro Max has a dual structure, including an anodized aluminum outer rim, a stainless steel inner core. The entire design has been replaced with Titanium Grade 5, a super durable and lightweight material, commonly used in the aviation and medical industries.

The new bezel is CNC machined to ensure absolute precision when attached to the original camera module. The bezel is then micro-polished and gold-plated.

On the original version, the frame of the machine was finished from series 7 aluminum alloy. The manufacturer used micro-polishing technique to process the surface. Then, the frame was covered with 18K rose gold.

All physical buttons on the iPhone, from the volume button, power button to the Action key, are replaced with details made from Titanium Grade 5.

One of the biggest changes on this custom iPhone is the back, which is replaced with 304L stainless steel.

This area is precisely CNC cut to the original size, then hand polished multiple times to create a mirror-like reflection. Finally, this part is gold-plated to ensure luxury as well as maximum durability of the surface.

However, replacing the Ceramic Shield glass back with 304L stainless steel also has certain limitations as users will not be able to use the MagSafe wireless charging feature.
