Vietnamese designer makes his mark in China

On September 21, designer Le Huu Nhan attracted attention when he introduced his new collection National Spirit in a program promoting Vietnamese localities in China. This is an activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and the Vietnam-China Cultural Exchange Year. Accordingly, the 15 designs are all stylized from traditional Vietnamese costumes.

For designer Le Huu Nhan, being present at this event is an honor. This is not only an opportunity for him to introduce his works to fashionistas but also to spread the image of resilient, indomitable Vietnamese women to international friends.

A diverse collection of different materials including mesh, silk, chiffon, curtains, woven bamboo... and some recycled materials to limit waste and protect the environment.

In each design, the author skillfully interweaves traditional and modern elements such as combining mermaid shapes, busty skirt details with familiar images such as conical hats, brass-strapped hats, headscarves, etc.

"The collection is a colorful picture of Vietnam, showing the diversity and richness of Vietnamese culture and people. Each outfit in the collection is a perspective of the homeland, spanning across the lands, from the charm of Kinh Bac girls to the traditional antiquity of Central girls and the lively joy of Southern girls," said designer Le Huu Nhan.

To close the performance, designer Le Huu Nhan trusted Mrs Asia International 2024 Kieu Vu with the vedette position. Walking on stage, she attracted attention when wearing a white design, helping to highlight her flawless skin and sweet beauty.

Le Huu Nhan revealed the reason he chose Kieu Vu to take on the closing position because throughout the past time, the beauty has shown her efforts and attempts to work not only in art but also in business. "So Kieu Vu is a role model that I am looking for, to promote with this collection the image of a woman who is 'good at public affairs and good at housework' in an international event," he said.
