Exhibition "Architecture - Construction" was held at Hue University hall

On this occasion, the organizing committee launched the Competition "Social Housing Model Design Ideas - Towards Sustainable Solutions" sponsored by the Ministry of Construction , chaired by the Vietnam Association of Architects and implemented by the Architecture Magazine, with a total prize value of up to 1 billion VND. The competition aims to find feasible design ideas to form a typical model for social housing, prioritizing industrialization, modularization, saving costs and construction time; while ensuring functionality, modernity and suitability to regional cultural identity.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Dr. Architect Phan Dang Son, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects, emphasized: "Young architects will contribute to making Hue increasingly green and sustainable with a youthful, enthusiastic and creative spirit." Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, assessed that the theme "Green Journey" is topical, reflecting global challenges such as climate change, environmental degradation, urbanization, while opening up opportunities to combine green, sustainable architecture with digital technology , artificial intelligence and innovation in urban development.

The competition is expected to generate new, practical ideas, contributing to solving the current social housing problem. This is also an opportunity for young architects to demonstrate their creativity and responsibility to the community, while spreading green, sustainable architectural thinking. The winning solutions will have important directional significance for the development of social housing models in the future.

With its large scale and in-depth content, the Festival is not only a creative and connecting festival but also affirms the aspiration to create green, identity-rich urban areas, towards a sustainable future for Vietnam.
