According to a survey by Lao Dong reporters on November 5, 2023 with nearly 30 banks in the system on November 5, 2023, most banks are listing 24-month term interest rates below 7%/year.

At the top is PVcomBank, which is listing the highest 24-month savings interest rate at 6.5%/year when customers deposit savings online. Under normal conditions, this is also the highest listed interest rate of PVcomBank for all terms.

OceanBank is listing the highest 24-month savings interest rate at 6.5%/year when customers deposit online and receive interest at the end of the term. Customers depositing at the counter receive interest at 6.4%/year.

Currently, OceanBank is listing the highest interest rate at 6.5%/year for terms of 18, 24, and 36 months.

HDBank is listing the highest interest rate for a 24-month term at 6.3% per year when customers deposit savings online. Under normal conditions, HDBank lists the highest interest rate at 6.5% per year when customers deposit savings online for 18 months.

SHB is listing the highest 24-month term interest rate at 6.3%/year when customers deposit savings online. In addition, for other terms, SHB lists interest rates ranging from 0.5-6.3%/year.

NCB is listing the highest interest rate for a 24-month term at 6.1%/year when customers deposit savings at An Phu and receive interest at the end of the term. Customers depositing traditional savings receive an interest rate of 5.95%/year when receiving interest at the end of the term.

With 1 billion VND deposited for 24 months, receive 130 million VND in interest

You can refer to the interest calculation method to know how much interest you will receive after saving. The interest calculation formula is as follows:

Interest = Deposit x deposit interest rate %/12 x number of months of deposit

For example, you deposit 1 billion VND into Bank A, 24-month term and enjoy 6.5% interest rate/year, the interest received is as follows:

1 billion VND x 6.5%/12 months x 24 months = 130 million VND.
